Recruitment Coordinator

We are looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our team to assist us with internal and external recruitment as well as various HR administration tasks.  The Recruitment Coordinator ensures that Inspired HR staffing needs are met in all aspects of the business while supporting our clients and internal team members with some HR administration support.  

This position is part-time, an average of 24 hours per week with the opportunity to increase to full-time as required. This position is based remotely with the flexibility to work from home and/or a central office base 

The successful candidate must have proven administration and strong communication skills, the ability to provide ideas for recruiting top talent and the project management skills to ensure that all aspects of recruitment are managed efficiently and effectively.  

The key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: 

  • Ownership of various recruitment projects for clients and ad hoc recruitment support for internal team members.  
  • Creating and managing recruitment postings and ads. 
  • Pre-screening and interviewing candidates for numerous roles across multiple clients, simultaneously. 
  • Conducting reference checks and initiating background checks (if applicable).
  • Managing Inspired HR social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to build awareness for our brand and recruitment. 
  • Building relationships with candidates, employees, managers, and clients. 
  • Working with clients and internal team members to determine hiring needs. 
  • Sourcing new and innovative ways to recruit talent. 
  • Assist with various HR related projects and tasks as assigned from time to time. 

 We would like to hear from candidates who possess the following: 

  • 1-2 years' experience in recruiting, human resources and/or office administration.  
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience. 
  • Hospitality or retail industry experience is considered an asset (not necessarily in Recruitment or HR). 
  • Social media savvy.
  • Self-motivated. 
  • Works well independently. 
  • Strong sense of urgency required for this role. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Expert multi-tasking, organizational, and project management abilities. 
  • Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office suite of products 
  • Experience using Skype, Zoom or other video conference technology.
