About the Dairy Account Manager Role

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Dairy Account Manager's primary responsibilities are two fold; managing existing accounts and developing and establishing new dealers. This individual also provides leadership and development to the sales team in Abbotsford as well as the technical resources responsible for the execution of product development.

Key Results Areas

  • Build an opportunity map with the Vice President of Sales and review this weekly
  • Successful acquisition of new dealers to meet revenue targets
  • Successfully managing existing accounts to ensure year-over-year revenue increases
  • Ensure that the minimum margin targets are adhered to

Role Responsibilities

  • Be a brand ambassador for our dealer network and dairy producers
  • Ensure sales targets and objectives are achieved
  • Develop new dealers while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing dealers and following up with key decision maker
  • Prepare and participate in monthly business reviews to measure performance against defined activity targets
  • Perform monthly financial forecast reviews and compare versus annual revenue and margin targets and prior financial periods
  • Participation in NWR's daily huddles, weekly meeting and quarterly reviews
  • Consult with the VP Sales and provide insight into developments in the Dairy Industry
  • Participation in the annual sales budget process
  • Support marketing and sales team in the planning and execution of customer events and trade shows

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of account management experience, preferably in a CPG environment
  • The willingness and ability to travel a minimum of Tuesday to Friday 2 out of every 4 weeks
  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Mandarin is an asset
  • Process focused/analytical problem-solver
  • Ability to seek out and generate new leads
  • Independent worker who takes ownership for responsibilities
  • Driven to achieve with emphasis on results
  • Team player who respects others
  • Detail-oriented
