We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team and support the company's business objectives by working collaboratively with our management team members to execute sales and marketing initiatives.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work directly with Company executives and Senior Marketing Manager to co-develop and execute the Company's sales and marketing strategies.
  • Serve as an administrator of our CRM/prospecting database system (NetSuite); ensure the integrity and quality of data in NetSuite.
  • Generate and track qualified leads and appointments for the executives and senior management team by completing persuasive business-to-business prospecting communications.
  • Contribute to content development (technical and conversational) using industry research, existing marketing materials, and content experts.
  • Take the lead on organizing the resources necessary to put together high-quality sales presentations.
  • Ensure the inventory of custom sales presentation materials, such as brochures and presentation folders, is always up to date.
  • Work with other departments within the company to bring in additional help on creating sales presentations when needed.
  • Assist with coordinating IPA's presence at trade shows and industry events.
  • Generate online and social media content that attracts potential clients, investors, and employees.
  • Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements, inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
  • Assist Senior Marketing Manager on continual improvement of marketing materials and website.
  • Additional tasks as needed and assigned by management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • 3 5 years previous experience in a related field; life science and/or bio technology industry experience is not required but considered an asset.
  • Technical knowledge of updating a webpage through WordPress is required; basic HMTL knowledge is considered an asset.
  • Experience updating content on social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Must be fluent in the English language.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to alternative work environments.
  • Strong team development and leadership skills.
